He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Veronica McIver; his children, Maureen McIver of Falmouth, James McIver (Marthanne) of Natick, Kathy McDaniel (late Michael) of Natick and Susan Kiggen (Joseph) of Natick; his grandchildren, Katie McIver, Lauren McIver (Zack Nagode), Abigail, Sarah Kiggen and Caroline McDaniel; his wife Elvie; his friends, Fran and Blanche Ciccarelli; and his caregivers, Kaidy, Nancy, Lydia and Kerry.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home (4 Park St, Natick, MA 01760). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (44 E Central St, Natick, MA 01760). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the St. Patrick Cemetery (44 E Central St, Natick, MA 01760).
