She was predeceased by : her husband Stanley Sherman; and her sisters, Helen Macdonald, Joyce Carney and Willene Cote. She is survived by : her sons, Dana Sherman (Janet) of Natick and Peter Sherman (Suzie) of Natick; her granddaughters, Linnea and Erika Sherman; and her great grandchild Sage Sherman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center 45 Union Street Natick, MA 01760.
