He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis and Edna (Meyer); his wife Dorothy Maier (Fay); and his sisters, Edna Foley, Lorraine English and Dorothy Young.

He is survived by : his daughters, Joanne Carmichael (Richard) of Hudson and Tricia Maier of Natick; his granddaughter Kristin Raymond (Robert) of Westborough; and his great grandchild Mackenzie Raymond.
