She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Poppens and Leola Poppens. She is survived by: her children, Don Thorp (Jeanette) and Meg Richardson (Paul); her granddaughters, Abigail and Rebecca; and her daughter Cathy (Joe Sinko).

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home (4 Park St, Natick, MA 01760).
