We bid farewell to Susan M. Hickey (Natick, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Susan leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy (Moore); her son Michael Hickey (Erika Boucher) of Framingham, MA.; and also Thomas B. Hickey Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas B. Hickey Jr. (Elissa) of Sherborn, MA, Christine Ordway (David) of Natick, MA and Colleen Hyland (Christian Ouellette) of Marlborough, MA; her brother James R. McCarthy Jr. of Matthews, NC; and her close friend Marilyn Ghioni (George Shaw) of Norfolk, MA. She is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home (4 Park St, Natick, MA 01760). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Rebekah Assembly of MA, 141 York Woods Road, South Berwick, ME 03908 (to support their scholarship fund), or to a charity of one's choice.
