Mary Potter wrote a sympathy message

“We will miss seeing Barrie paddling with that awesome smile greeting us all in the pool! She shared her joys and sorrows with us and always so willingly helped us carry our sad times and rejoice with our happy times. There will be an empty spot in the pool but we will fill it with loving memories of that brave lady that kept on praying and kept on swimming! She gave my sweet Paul a renewed sense of joy with her friendship and it was precious to behold! Love you Barrie!”
