He was predeceased by: his wife Edith L. Gallagher; his parents, James Gallagher and Irene Gallagher; and his siblings, William Gallagher, Jean Jurek, Sr., Mary Gallagher, John Stamant and Robert Stamant.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy L. Murphy (William) of Mansfield, Edward J. Gallagher (Susan) of Leighton, PA, Robert P. Gallagher (Christine) of Laconia, NH, Laurie A. Longee (Christopher) of Northbrook, IL and Joanie M. Gallagher of North Attleboro; and his sister Elizabeth Harkins of Naples, FL.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
