Gilbert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gilbert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gilbert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen. He is survived by: his children, Gilbert W. Cox III, David R. Cox, Carol T. Brown and Elizabeth. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (1351 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492).
