He was predeceased by: his son Michael J. Bresnahan; and his sisters, Faye, Nancy and Sally. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Dunne Bresnahan; his children, Ellen Bresnahan, Stephen J. Bresnahan and Timothy J. Bresnahan; his sister Judy Mawn; his brother-in-law Tom Dunne (Winanne); his grandchildren, Emily Young (Bill), Melissa Hamblet (Ali), Ryan Hamblet and Casey Bresnahan; and his great grandchildren, Theodore and Christopher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
