With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Hsiu Chen of Needham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Michaeline P. Fu; his daughter Pamela; his brother Dun; and his cousin Aloysius. He is survived by: his children, Mark, David, Thomas (Lynne), Philip (Deborah) and Carolyn; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Alexandra), Paul, Benjamin, Marah, Caitlin (Michael), Jordan (Yerlan), Samuel, Hannah, Rachael and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Jack, Lucas, Ruslan and Kaisar; his nephews, Matt (Annie) and Zachary; his niece Natalie (Richard); and his great-nephews, Alex and Aldan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (1351 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (1360 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Highland Cemetery (2 Dedham St, Dover, MA 02030).
