We announce the death of Joyce Ann Mellon of Needham, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 92. Joyce Ann’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Stephenson and Gerard Stephenson; her husband Frank; and her sister Joan. She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Kathy Mellon), Michael (Nancy Mellon), Jeffrey (Linda Mellon), Jeri Ann (Sidney Gutzwiller) and Jon (Dawn Mellon). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
