We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026, Magdalene (Tsantinis) Bartzokis of Needham, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andreas Bartzokis; her sons, Nicholas Bartokis and George Bartzokis; her parents, Nicholas Tsantinis and Eugenia Tsantinis (Sorongas); and her brother Vasilios Tsantinis of Worcester.
She is survived by: her daughter Betsey Forbes (Brian) of Hanson; her grandchildren, Kerrie Ta (Derek) of Abington, Andrew Forbes (Miglena Dobreva) of Needham, William Forbes (LaClaire Cartwright) of Quincy and Steven Bartzokis (Nicollete) of East Boston; her daughter-in-law Kristine Bartzokis; and her sisters, Elefteria Salpoglou of Bourne, MA, Maria Kotsiris of Barrington, RI, Helen Tolko of Ormond Beach and Efstathia Koulisis of Worcester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Magdalene's memory be made to the Hellenic Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, 610 Sherman Street, Canton, MA 02021.
