Mary Theresa (Curtin) Murawski Obituary

MURAWSKI, Mary Theresa (Curtin) Of Needham, September 9, 2021. Born in Pittsfield to Bartholomew J. Curtin and Mary E. (Gaffey) Curtin. She was a Graduate of St. Josephs High School. Mary was the long time devoted wife of the late Benjamin Joseph Murawski and leaves a son Benjamin Joseph Murawski of FL and daughter-in-law Adele E Coogan.

Mary was pre-deceased by her two sisters Catherine and Joan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews including her devoted niece Lorraine. Mary had great affection for her late nephews Timothy J. Scott and Stephen D. Scott. A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Mary loved to travel to Cape Cod and The Lakes of New Hampshire.

She enjoyed the Casinos and Shows of Las Vegas and Mary also made a number of visits to her Ancestral homeland of Ireland. Mary was a 41 year employee of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Needham, the old Glover Memorial, where she particularly enjoyed her work as a Tumor Registrar. Caring and Compassionate, Mary was loyal and giving to a fault, and will be forever missed by all who knew her.

Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 8;30-9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Needham at 10:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45pm.
