We bid farewell to Peter Carey Belval of Needham, Massachusetts, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2026 at the age of 90. Peter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Belval and Alice Belval (Carey); and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his wife Josephine (Scarcella); his children, Linda Belval Kickham of Pompano Beach, FL, Peter (Meredith) of Scituate, MA and Scott (Tracy) of Needham, MA; his sister Ellen (Tom Williams) of Orlando, FL.; and his grandchildren, Peter, Katie, Taylor, Ryan and Hailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (1305 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (1382 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492).
