She is survived by: her brother Thomas J. Heffernan (Kathryn) of Ridgway, CO; and her great-uncle Bishop James Walsh (Maryknoll).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Eaton Funeral Home (1351 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (1360 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492).

“My parents, Frank Albert And Rita Mona Repetto were from Jamaica Plain and knew Mike and Betty Heffernan, I also, also went to St. Bartholomew school and Needham High with Kathy. Sheila and I became friends when I met her at 9:00 Daily Mass. We used to visit and take food to the Franciscan Little Brothers in Mission Hill, Roxbury. I visited her often. Sheila would invite me over for coffee when she lived on Chambers St. I'd also attend Activity programs at Briarwood i.e. exercises.”
