With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arminda Fatima Alves of New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Borges and Maria Borges (Pacheco). She is survived by: her husband Timothy D. Alves; her sons, Bryan Coulombe (Vanessa) and Timothy Alves, Jr. (Hailee Roderiques); and her siblings, Armindo Borges (Merces), Antonio Borges (Rosa), Dinis Borges (MaryLou), Luisa Borges, Francisco Borges (Maria), Daniel Borges (Ilda) and Jose Borges (Marcia). She is also survived by her two boys and grandson.
