She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Ribeiro; and her parents, Francisco Taveira and Maria Taveira (Escaleira). She is survived by: her children, Irene Rose Andrade (Antonio) of New Bedford and Thomas Ribeiro of New Bedford; her siblings, Manuel Taveira (Natividade) of New Bedford, Joaquim Taveira (Luisa) of New Bedford, Antonio Taveira (Maria) of New Bedford, Alice Machado of Florida, Irene Ferreira (Candido) of New Bedford and Dulce Coutinho (Joaquim) of New Bedford; and her grandchildren, Melissa, Stacie, Marc, Kassandria and Alexander. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church (136 Earle St, New Bedford, MA 02746).
