Carl John Colangelo Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Carl John Colangelo (New Bedford, Massachusetts) is shared. Carl, born on August 2, 1961, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Carl will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Carl by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Carl is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Carl’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Colangelo and Gertrude Colangelo (Terraboa). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Colangelo (Howcroft); his daughters, Isabella and Mia; his parents-in-law, John and Candy Howcroft; his brother Camille M. Colangelo; and his son Carlucci.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rock Funeral Home (1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish (343 Tarkiln Hill Rd, New Bedford, MA 02745).
