With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carlos J. Camara (New Bedford, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2026 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginio Bento Camara and Teodilina Camara (Cabral); and his brothers, Gil, Francisco and Luis Camara.
He is survived by: his wife Maria B. Camara (DeMedeiros) of New Bedford; his daughters, Ana I. Santos (Mario), Paula C. Camara and Kelly M. Camara; his grandchildren, Curt, Tanya, Ryan, Tayla, Eric, Kolby and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Rilyn, Kenzley and Raidon; and his sibling Lurdes Nobrega. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
