She was predeceased by: her husband Roger I. Cornell, Sr.; her parents, Wilfred W. Cook and Dorothy F. Cook (Pittsley); her siblings, Allen B. Cook, Nancy A. Pittsley, Barbara L. Mello and David W. Cook; and her godson Paul D. Mello.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy J. Cornell of Richlands, VA, Missie L. Campbell of Dusty, L. M, Defino of New Bedford and Fantasia M. Cornell of New Bedford; and her siblings, Wilfred W. Cook of New Bedford, Douglas E. Cook of New Bedford, Jesse A. Cook of Fairhaven and Betty L. Cook of New Bedford. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 2 godchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
