It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David A. Soares of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Soares and Mary Soares (Ramos); his daughter Robbie-Ann Reed-Santos; and his brother William "Soupy" Ramos. He is survived by : his sons, Erick Gonzalez of New Bedford and Curtis Soares of California; his stepson Sheldon Silva of New Bedford; his daughters, Darlene Soares of California, Karrie-Ann Soto of New Bedford and Desiree Soares of Stoughton; and his sister Josephine Cardoza of New Bedford. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
