She was predeceased by : her husband Michael Monteiro. She is survived by : her sister Doris Tanguay (Soares); and her stepchildren, Jason Andrade, Syreeta Soares, Desiree Soares, Larissa Monteiro and Michael Thompson. She is also survived by several siblings, 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
