The memory of Evelyn Costa of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 2, 2026 at the age of 99, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Costa, Jr.; her parents, Manuel Rapoza and Mary Rapoza (Pacheco); and her siblings, Manuel Rapoza and Mary Rego.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph W. Costa of De Soto, Texas and Marjorie G. Costa (Lawrence) of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Scott, Monica, Rebecca, Stephanie and Peter; and her great grandchildren, Jael, Cameron, Olivia, Andrew, Isaiah, Victoria and Tatiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
