He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Bento and Anna Bento (Noia); his wife Laura "Laurinha" Bento (Silveira); and his brother Antonio Bento. He is survived by: his daughter Marie Lilia "Lily" Bento-DaRosa of New Bedford; his grandson Zachary Louis DaRosa (Rita Ann Boutaugh); his great grandchild Andreia Angelina DaRosa; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Constance Elizabeth Boutaugh.
