It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Penha of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Penha and Zulmira Penha (Pina); and his brother Domingo Penha. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly J. (Lopes); his children, Vincent Penha (Stephanie) of New Bedford and Laurie Penha of New Bedford; his siblings, Paul Penha (Maryann) of New Bedford and Josephine Braz; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Lopes of New Bedford, Jeannette Santos of Marion and Edward Lopes of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Jordan Penha, Joshua Dupont and Keyan Penha; his great grandchildren, Aliyah Dupont and Jasper Dupont; and his siblings, Frank Penha and Irene Gomes.
