With sadness, we share the passing of Helen L. Cotter of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Helen, born on June 15, 1933, passed away on June 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Cotter; her parents, Albert E. Entwistle and Helen L. Entwistle (Chace); her brothers, Edward Entwistle, Raymond Williams and Paul Hubert; and her siblings-in-law, Arnie Gamage and Roger Bauvoux.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph M. Cotter (Lisa) of Sandwich, MA, Stephen W. Cotter of Buxton, ME and Kathleen Cotter Montegut (Alain) of West Bath, ME; her grandchildren, Patrick Cotter, Kevin Cotter, Sara Montegut and Daniel Montegut; and her siblings, Donald Williams (Joan Smyrski) of Jefferson, ME, Joan Bavoux of Somerset, MA, Gail Gamage of South Bristol, ME and Diane Tefft (Robert) of Sutton, MA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
