He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgino Vieira and Edith Vieira (Amaral); his son David Dacosta; and his sibling Gene Vieira. He is survived by: his wife Lillian J. Vieira (Pelletier); his children, Gerry Dacosta (Vicki) of Dartmouth, Glenn Vieira (Christine Carr) of New Bedford and Linda Correia (Andrew) of Mattapoisett; his grandsons, Steven Silcox and Jason Vieira (Erica); and his great grandchildren, Mia Vieira, Nora Vieira and Steven Silcox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
