She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulogio Correa and Juana Encarnación; and her father-in-law Fundador Batista. She is survived by: her children, Osvaldo Benitez of Florida, Jenny Campos (Carlos) of Connecticut and Winter Batista (Bryon Garcia) of Connecticut; her siblings, Jimmy Correa of New Bedford, Roger Encarnación of New Bedford, Lourdes Correa of New Bedford and Madeline Correa of New Bedford; her mother-in-law Rogelia Matos of Puerto Rico; her brother-in-law Julio Morales of New Bedford; her goddaughter Chicola; her great grandchildren, Alice Lopez, Mildred Rivera, Denise Santos and Suleiny Pool-Sierra; and her caregiver Emmanuel Santos. She is also survived by several other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews including her niece.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
