She is survived by: her husband John H. Sylvia; her children, Mark P. Cote (Michelle Pimental) of New Bedford and Suzanne M. Pereira (Graciano "Tony" Pereira) of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Kayla (Josh Wunschel), Kyle Pereira, William and Eleanora Cote; her great grandchild Hazlee Wunschel; and her stepson John Henry Sylvia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or Southcoast Hospice.
