He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose F. Giesta and Valentina C. Giesta (Falcão). He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Giesta and Tyler Giesta of New Bedford; his siblings, Gualter Giesta, Maria Giesta of New Bedford, Aires Giesta (Susan) of Dartmouth and Stephanie Giesta (Philip Medeiros) of New Bedford; and his nephews, Mark Giesta, Matthew Giesta, Austin Giesta, Quentin Giesta and Daulton Giesta.
