Kimberly A. Monteiro Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kimberly A. Monteiro of New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph G. Oliveira. She is survived by: her mother Carole D. Monteiro of Fairhaven; her children, Lance Monteiro of New Bedford, Nicholas Monteiro Colston of Alabama, Leonard "Nuke" Mitchell of Virginia Beach, VA and Janae L. Monteiro of New Bedford; her stepdaughters, Erica Pinkney and Tasha Clark; her brothers, Joseph A. Oliveira, Sr. of Maine, Theodore "Teddy" Oliveira of Maine and Christopher Oliveira of Maine; and her grandchildren, Khairi, Jayceon, Saniyah, Jasiya, Jaiden, Daimanee, Anyiah L., Nae'lani, Aniyah N., Kylen, Kayvon, Kairon, Leonard III and Leom. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (47 S 6th St, New Bedford, MA 02740).
