He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Machado and Emilia Machado; and his brothers, Antonio Machado and Ernest Machado. He is survived by: his wife Maria Angelina (Almeida); his children, Fatima Simas (Victor), Antonio Machado (Tamara) and George Machado (Amy); his grandchildren, Angelina Fahey (Paul), Eva Shuman (Alec), Philip Machado (Alexis), Andrew Simas and Nicole Simas; and his great grandchildren, Vivian Shuman and Mia Fahey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
