He was predeceased by: his parents, José Alves and Maria Antonia Raposo (Arruda). He is survived by: his wife Cidalia P. Sousa (Pereira) of New Bedford; his sons, Ricardo Sousa (Suiyin) of Brewster, Michael Sousa of New Bedford and Danny Sousa (Jennifer) of South Dartmouth; his siblings, Maria Cunha of Fall River, José Alves of Fall River, John Sousa (Silvana) of Dartmouth, Luis Sousa (Cidalia) of Mississauga, Ontario, Arthur Raposo (Ana) of Fall River, Connie Pereira of Fall River, Lucia Bernier (Raymond) of Georgia and Helena Arruda of Fall River; and his grandchildren, Lucas Sousa, Liam Sousa, Caden Sousa and Kylie Sousa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, Godchildren.
