It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria L. Augusto of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Medeiros Carreiro and Maria Rosa DeSousa; and her sibling Durval Carreiro (Margarida Amaral Carreiro). She is survived by: her husband Antonio Augusto; her son Durval Augusto (Diane); her grandsons, Logen and Hunter Augusto; and her siblings, Jose Maria Carreiro (Alzira), Natalia Goncalves (Joao) and Luzia Carreiro Sampaio. She is also survived by nieces & nephews; and several godchildren.
