He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Cravinho and Eunice E. Cravinho (Normandin); his siblings, Albert Cravinho and Sharon Marginson; and his former wife Patricia Ann Cravinho (Gordon).
He is survived by: his wife Linda E. Cravinho (Rumney); his children, Michael Cravinho, Jr. (Kimberly) of Freetown, Kimberly Machado and Stephen Lucia of New Bedford; his stepdaughter Lynne Pires (Roger Daniel); his grandchildren, Kylie Machado, Brianna Machado, Cameron Bessette and Allison Cravinho; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Pires, Jeffrey Frias, Ryan Pires, Rachel DeNardo and Joshua Pires; his great grandchildren, Noah and Gabriella Frias; and his sisters, Susan Plunkett (Robert) of Florida and Linda Simpson (John) of Fairhaven. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and a great-grandson.
