He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Richard (Castonguay); his children, Michael P. Richard (Patricia) of Acushnet, Kevin Richard (Karen) of Dartmouth, Kenneth M. Richard (Debra) of Acushnet and Karen L. Szwaja of New Bedford; his daughter-in-law Anne Richard of New Bedford; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Brian, Jeffrey, Thomas, Jonathan, Melissa, Kristin, Zachary, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael and Rebecca. He is also survived by twenty one great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
