She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. James F. Francis; her parents, Stanislaw Smietana and Francesca Smietana (Wojtal); and her siblings, Dr. Walter Smietana, Sophia Smietana, Josephine Delano, Emilia Foy and Janina Bryden.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wethington (John) of Fairhaven, Peter Francis (Pamela) of Taunton and Christopher Francis of New Bedford; her grandsons, James Francis (Brittni) of Fairhaven, Zachary Francis of New Bedford, Drew Wethington (Meaghan) of Acushnet, Blake Wethington (Alexandra) of Lexington, Jack Wethington (Emilie Lague) of Lakeville and Evan Francis of Taunton; her great grandchildren, Rory James, Rylee Emilia, Layla Grace, Hallie Ray and Mariella Elise; her brother Thaddeus Smietana of Attleboro; Chris Gomes of Freetown and Kyle Gomes of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
