William Roland Dugas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Roland Dugas of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo Dugas and Florence Dugas (Descheneaux); and his brothers, Roger Dugas and Gerald Dugas. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Aldrich); his son James Dugas; his granddaughters, Jamie and Rena Dugas; his nieces, Amy Ashworth Solomon, Jill Ashworth Valadao, Katie and Emma Dury; Jean Ashworth. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (343 Tarkiln Hill Rd, New Bedford, MA 02745).
In lieu of flowers contributions in Bill's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.
