It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Mendonca of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen A. Mendonca (Doyle); and his parents, Edward Mendonca and Nancy Mendonca (Rocha). He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Mendonca of South Weymouth and Amanda Harmond of Braintree; his grandchildren, Carter and Jayden Smaller; and his brothers, Andrew and Joseph Mendonca of Middleboro.
