He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bennett and Elsie L Bennett (Young); and his wife Nola Alice Bennett (Jack). He is survived by: his siblings, Olive, Lillith, Marion and Bobby; his children, John Bennett (Georgia) of Ipswich, Tim Bennett (Katy) of Michigan, Rob Bennett (Lynda) of Billerica, Laurie Crawford (Jay) of Woburn and Lee-Ellen Olson (Wayne) of Woburn; and his grandchildren, Chantel, Stephanie, Tom, Jack, Marianne, Robbie, Justin, Craig, Jay, Jennie, Samantha and Hillary.
