He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Welch (McClure) and Ernest Welch. He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Dianna) and Thomas; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Brayden, Julia and Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc and Conte Funeral Home (193 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (42 Green St, Newburyport, MA 01950).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, I.C. Newbury & Newburyport, MA.
