John J. Hriczo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Hriczo of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hriczo and Helen Hriczo (Gosselin); his wife Susan (Skrovanek); his daughters, Elizabeth (Jason Katonica) of Glenmont, NY and Kathryn Hriczo (Jonathan Woodard) of Newburyport; his grandchildren, Emily Katonica and Cooper Woodard; and his corgi Mikie.
