He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Gertrude; his significant other Debra Joy; and his sister Waltraud. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Nicole (William); his grandchildren, Zoë, Emma, Simon, Margo, Charlotte and Liam; his siblings, Anneliese and Jörg; and his extended family Susan Swan (Klaus Haeussler).
