With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Louise McCarthy of Newburyport, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Carey (Sullivan) and Henry Carey of Newburyport. She is survived by: her husband Richard McCarthy; her children, Michael McCarthy (Jennifer) of Middleton, Shawn McCarthy (Krissy) of Amesbury and Erin Letourneau (Paul) of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Connor, Christopher, Caden, Lillian, Reaghan, Matthew and Kaylee; her siblings, Michael Carey (Ann) of Utah and Nancy Kennison (Michael) of Newburyport; and her siblings-in-law, Diane Andersen (Edward) of Merrimac and William McCarthy (Patricia) of Newton, NH.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
