It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Apodemi of Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anita Apodemi to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore DiSeglio and Concetta (DeSantis); and her siblings, Rocco DiSeglio, Ida Taylor and Gino DiSeglio.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Devoe (Robert) of Newton; her stepgrandson Justin McKinnon (Erin); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Scott and Jamie of Maynard; and her siblings, Beatrice Mallozzi (Louis) of Plymouth, Patsy Grossman of Newton, Frank Greely of Newton, Maria Clemente, Arthur Heath of Waltham, Lina Gentile (Daniel) of Framingham, Joseph DiSeglio (Denise) of Newton and Karen DiSeglio of Waltham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Newton Cemetery (791 Walnut St, Newton Centre, MA 02459).
