It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Doherty of Newton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Doherty and John Doherty of Newton, MA.. She is survived by: her sister Joan McSweeney (Terrence) of Newton, MA; her siblings' children, Lauren B. McSweeney of West Yarmouth, MA and Michael McSweeney (Lynette); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Patrick and Addyson of Waltham, MA; her brother John (Carole Doherty) of South Carolina; and her siblings' children, Janet and Jack.
