He was predeceased by: his parents, Shihong Zhang and Zhenxiang Qu; and his son-in-law Frank M. DeAngelis. He is survived by: his wife Feng Ting Wang; his daughters, Yi Zhang (Xiangzhong Sun) and Yuan Zhang DeAngelis; and his grandchildren, Andrew Sun and Jasmine Sun.
