With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Antoinette Benanto (Newton, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ronald Benanto; her children, Jessica Oldham (Michael) of Arlington and Jeffrey Benanto (Nicole) of Duxbury; her grandchildren, Ryder, Judah Oldham, Clara, Chloe and Maren Benanto; her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Holzer (late John), Lucille Benanto and Joseph Benanto; her close friend Anne Reenstierna (Eric); and her parents, Francis Sokolowski and Suzanne Sokolowski. She was also cherished by her family, especially watching her children and grandchildren.
Donations can also be made in her honor to the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland, Mass.
