She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Louis Lowy; her children, Susan, Robert Harlan of Sarasota, FL, Peter and Linda Lowy of Brookline; her grandchildren, Nina, David Bann of Wilmington and Erica Lowy of Los Angeles; and her spouse Displaced Persons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louis Lowy Fund in Gerontology and Social Welfare Policy at Boston University.
