She was predeceased by : her spouse Sidney J. Tankel; and her siblings, Eliot Young (Dorothy) and Arnold Young. She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Cohen (Gary), Stephen Tankel (Rose Shapiro) and Gail Cohen (Scott); her grandchildren, Matthew (Clarke), Andrew (Sara), Jake, Charli (Will), Sam and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Liora and Ari.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA 02067).
